state flight OG 269 DMK - HKT, an MD-82 operated One-Two-Go, Thailand's first LCC, has crashed ni poor weather and caught fire on arrival at Phuket. 88 people are presumed dead of the load of 123 and 7 crew; most passengers, according to the BBC, were foreigners.

Very sad, appears to be another pilot trying to land, take off, and land again situation. Thailand has a very competitive airline environment, LCC has helped many Thais travel within and outside their country much more than they have been able to do before. My condolence to those involved.
