Wedding Location
I am planning a small ceremony with 20-30 close friends and family in Thailand. . . . browsing through this forum I found several posts on people attending others wedding or honeymooning, but no discussion or opinion on locations for receptions. I am reaching out in the hope someone has had some experiences or recommendations.
I am looking at Koh Samui, Phuket, or Hua Hin. I would really like to keep the ceremony at a ihg, hilton, spg or marriot property to ease the costs on our traveling guests and hopefully securing some reward nights for them.

IMO, you pay a premium for US-based chains in Thailand over local chains or boutiques (basically you pay extra for the name of the hotel), so unless your guests have point balances in the chain you choose, you might not actually be reducing their expenses.
That being said, it will likely be easier to get the services you want and the comfort level will be higher, so I guess there's that.
