Hi,

Before I ask a load of questions, has anyone done a trip on this train at all please?

Thanks for that, I'm trying to find out about dress code. It says suits and dresses for dinner plus smart casual the rest of the time, what's bothering me is that you can't take a suitcase into your compartment so you have to carry 4 to 6 seperate outfits with you in a carry on bag.

How many carry on bags do you know can fit that many clothes in??!!!!!

Plus there are two of us travelling they can't expect you to wear the same things all day and then all night.

For a typical 2 nights journey and if booked in a state cabin, you will have space for two medium sized bags in the compartment plus some smaller bags.

Black tie is expected and appropriate in the evening for gentlemen and you might get strange looks (not only from me ) not adhering to it. For ladies it should be glamorous.

Try to avoid the pullman cabins as they are more cramped.
