Scuba Diving in Khao Lak

Good day,

I am looking to do daytrips from Khao Lak in January.

Does anyone have recommendations for great diving tour providers?

Thanks!

Hi,
we booked liveaboard with Khao Lak Scuba Adventures and wreck daytrip with Khao lak Fun divers because they are partners. We're going in KL in few weeks. We decided for them because KLSA timing was right for us.
We also contacted before booking Sea bees divind, Wicked diving, Seadragon and IQ dive.

Wicked diving offers some good opportunities....especially the wrecks and the only muck diving in Khao Lak

hey BostonFlyer1624
I'm also staying in Khao Lak in January and both myself and my other half are very keen scuba divers.
I'll keep an eye on this thread but do post if you find anything interesting out.
Where are you staying?
Regards
JR.

How deep is he water ? And can you just use fins and a mask ?

I did that right off the beach in Hawaii and it was fun feeding the fish

Just returned from KL - and just before the Similian's reopened so didn't dive.

But, I have learnt the two things that are expensive in Khoa Lak are diving and taxis!

Doesn't help with recommendations, but around 10 diving shops in the main Khao Lak drag all advertising trips and liveaboards when I was there.

Please keep us posted if you find anything out. I'll be there over the holidays -- looking for same info.

Hi,

dived with SeaBees a couple of years ago in the Similans, this was on a daytrip on their fast Cat. Not cheap but worth the trip and comfortable.
