New transfer procedure at BKK

Don't see anything posted on this yet so here goes:

Transit desks previously positioned on the second floor near C transfer security are now positioned on 3rd floor toward/over A concourse. The exception to this is for BPs being issued for USM, HKT, KBV, CNX, CEI and HDY, those are still issued at the old transfer desk locations.

While signs in transfer security still request 'please present your boarding pass' blah blah blah, nobody asked to actually see one (which is good, considering the transfer desk is PAST security).

Seems that, unless something changes, security is a formality and those transferring to domestic flights might have luck accessing international lounges. There is nothing to prevent any passengers from staying in the international areas....

The women at the desk informed me that this was effective as of Sept 1.
