Do TG Prices Drop As Day of Flight Nears?

Here's a question for veteran TG fliers (or shoppers).
Do TG flight prices drop as the flight date nears? I noticed that my upcoming flight's PE fare RT (JFK-BKK) dropped about $130 last week, and in other comments made it seems it may go lower still (maybe another $100).
I'd rather do a re-purchase (and refund the current ticket) one time, so I'm thinking about what to do. Of further note, to date the flight hasn't gained more than maybe 1 seat in PE.
Suggestions?
P.S. I see on these same flights that my Saturday return shows FULL in Royal Silk class. Is this normal for these flights to sell out all those seats in Biz? This is on the return flight, which is a Saturday, BKK to JFK. On the outbound, a Thursday, Royal Silk class is about 30% full.
(as always thanks to everyone for help with these questions

I don't have a lot of experience tracking price changes, but the ones I've seen have been up, not down. I suppose it's because the flights I typically take tend to be fairly full and as they fill up, chances are if prices were to change they wouldn't be going down. I guess it just depends on how many empty seats they're projecting the flight will have. If you wait until just a few days before your flight, sometimes there are Super Deals available on the Thai website that are excellent prices, but have the restriction that the ticket is not changeable nor refundable. I normally don't take a chance and just book my ticket once I've decided on my schedule and don't really worry or care what the price may do after that. If the trip is totally optional, then I might wait until the last minute and hope for a Super Deal.

A number of destinations (both domestic and international) do get price dropped when it gets closed to departure date (e.g. 2-7 days) and those segments are fully displayed under Super Deal on TG website. The drawback on this is that dates might not be exactly as your choice (maybe 1-2 days before or after) and round trip option may not be available. Most special deals seem to be one way, however, roundtrip options may come up from time to time.
Nevertheless, waiting for those deals to come up is too risky. Unless ur tickets if refundable and the super deal gives better deal, then you can do the refund and buy new tickets thru super deal.
