Hi all.
Exiting quarantine early in the week, and planning to fly WE domestically to UTH.
Just a couple quick questions:
What is current service on domestic WE? Still no food service in Smile Plus? Are they blocking middle seats or anything in regular cabin?
Currently, no restriction on flying from BKK to UTH, correct?
Thanks.

We flew Thai Smile a few days ago, CNX-BKK, in regular economy. There is food service. Each pax received a bottle of water and a type of sandwich. Coffee, tea and juice was also available. No blocking of middle seats. Plane was fairly full.
Also, the TG lounge in BKK domestically is open.

To add my own data point, flew Thai Smile Plus this week from BKK to UTH, early morning departure.
I was the only passenger in the Plus section. No pre-departure beverage, but there was a hot towel and food service on the short flight. Looked like a fairly normal food / beverage service for the regular cabin as well.
Temperature screening upon entering airport. No other changes from a regular trip. Lounge was open. All the food items were in single serve plastic instead of the usual warmers / plates, etc. More limited selection. But both coffee machines were working and they had real ceramic mugs.

I think domestic is fairly reliable for a month into the future - that said, it only will be so until someone thinks it clever to ban or restrict domestic travel as part of the next round of restrictions..

Just completed a Thai Smile RT, BKK-KBV-BKK. They are currently not serving any food or beverages on board; instead, they will give you a takeaway brown bag at the end of the flight.
We used remote stands at BKK in both directions, and both times the aircraft was parked very far from the terminal. I assume this is so they don't have to pay to use gates, since there's not exactly a shortage of empty ones at the moment. On the inbound back to BKK, it took 13 minutes from the time we boarded the bus to the time we pulled up at the domestic (A) terminal. It then took nearly half an hour to get our checked bag (which was the first off the carousel).
On the outbound, the Smile Plus was worth it, we used the TG domestic lounge, there was only one other passenger in the cabin, and we were the first pax to reach the covid document check station. On the return, it was a complete waste of money, the lounge at KBV was closed, the cabin was nearly full, and there was no time savings disembarking due to the remote stand arrival.
Not too happy about the remote stand nonsense.
