Wi-Fi access card

for those of you who would like to keep Wi-Fi access card for next flight, please note that TG has two different systems (no surprise given TG's fleet policy):
SITAONAIR on the A380
Panasonic on A350 and B787

seems like handed out access cards have different validity period: for 787/A350 expire at the end of same year; A380 expire at the end of following year...

I have at least 10 cards at home from 787 travel in 2018 that have an expiry date of 31 Dec 2019!

good for you! I got two with expiry date at the end of the same year, in opposite to A380, where i got many cards with expiry date at the end of following year and never one that expired at the end of the same year.

I just noticed in my bag that I still have one A350 voucher from back in April last year - that one expires 31 Dec this year, so that would be end of the following year too.

I have mostly found the wifi speed on Thai to be slow and only useful for messaging/mail. I have never had a problem obtaining several vouchers on one flight without asking, but it is tedious to keep logging in so on a 9 to 12 hour flight I may end up using wifi intermittently every few hours for work/contacting family, etc. Hardly worth the effort to save a voucher for the next flight.
