Best Royal Silk Lounge at BKK

I have a 6 hour transit at BKK on way back to London from Australia - travelling in Business Class.

Which is the best Royal Silk Lounge - would like to have a shower but on the way out went into the 'D' lounge that doesn't have showers but later found out 'C' does, should I go for this one?

Are you allowed in the Spa when travelling in Business? Thinking a massage will help pass a bit of time.

Thanks all.

spa only 1/2 hour (neck & shoulder or feet) without shower when traveling biz
C and I think also E have showers, the major Lounge D not

many fellow board members think that for biz class Lounges, SQ and EVA are better then TG
EVA has shower but is a bit a distance in F terminal
new SQ just opened so not sure if they have shower

you can of course switch between the Lounges as many times as you want...

The Royal Orchid Lounge at Concourse E - West and the Royal Silk Lounge at Concourse C - West have slumber rooms which might be useful to you during a longish layover. In addition the TG major lounge in Concourse D serves wine (the bar near the escalators) while the other TG biz lounges do not.

If you decide to BKK *A lounge hop SQ (gate D7) TG (concourse E) and BR (gate F1) are all pretty close together.

thanks for this update! a bit disappointing. But of course for the passengers on SQ with their short haul flights, who would need to take a shower...

i find the TG F Lounge less crowded in the evening, as probably less TG flights with F leaving (switch from A340/747 to 777-300ER and A350) and less other *A flights leaving with F passengers (schedule or plane change)

also EVA and SQ are not so crowded as the TG Lounges
wonder when the new TG J Lounge is coming...

I have only tried the F lounge once and yes it was dead, I liked it, it was our early morning arrival from CDG. It was nice to see a quiet lounge, so relaxing. They put us in a private room. Nice.

it's most of the time quiet during the day until it fills up after 2030
have more then once been alone in the Lounge (maybe overlooked the japanese chap, who was sitting permanently in the smoking room)

The old one did not even have a toilet. Maybe the next one will also offer shower facilities.

yes that is well known; but there was one just outside the Lounge. but now for shower facilities you still need to go to TG (C or E) or EVA
