remember that only two years ago they actually considered to withdraw from the purchase of these aircraft (hey were only sticking to the contracts because of the severe penalty payments which they would have had to pay instead.....)

Bangkok - Hong Kong TG600/601 28OCT12 - 14DEC12

Yea! We have 2 F seats in November on TG600! Anxiously awaiting TG to update their seat maps so I can check out the layout and reselect out new seats.

Any special inauguration for this?

Will the NRT service get any inaugural hoopla? Or will the 380 be old school by then?

probably from TYO only, I assume, but no longer from BKK as - indeed - there they should already be used to this bird by then....

My thanks also to Wheresmybagba and Jasonvr for the heads up! I, too, will be travelling BKK-HKG, but in November, and just reconfirmed my seat assignment - 1A - on the big bird. I'm so pysched - first time on an A380!!!
