A380 Route in TG Sawasdee in flight Magazine - FRA/LHR and CDG

I saw a few thread referencing the routes but the in-flight magazine for Jan had a 2 pages on the big bird.

Summary is that it will start flying from Q3 2012 and serve the highly popular routes of BKK to London, Frankfurt and Paris. There was scant additional details, no timetable as to when and which destination will come first.

Unfortunately, the A380 may even make the TG lottery more complex!?

HKG we know about of course...TG Australia Facebook page also listed PVG which I hadn't heard before. They tend to be not so accurate with their info mind you!

This is what i got from the TA i use when travelling from Germany:

Frankfurt is confirmed for the A380 as first destination.
Only after TG gets its 4th A380 London will come online

What i'm most curious about is the inaugural flight, ebay like SQ or a new amazing Thailand idea?

I'd make a friendly wager TG 380 will visit FRA before Xmas 2012.

Next up has to be LHR I'd imagine.

The crux of the Thai artile was getting more people into slot-controleed airports. Is CDG even slot controlled?

Er, count me out, you could lose a lot of money on this wager!

IF the plane is delivered on time, TG will then have to spend some time training crew on regional flights (prob ones that now see 744 such as HKG).

It is not a case that the A380 will be deployed on the FRA route the day after its delivery.
