TG F Which Plane?
Hi All,
Looking for advice on which flight to choose on TG. I've found availability in F from UK and would love to try it as a special treat for our 20th anniversary, to a thai island for 5-6 days(child free). I've read that some TG have the suites and some don't, also their UK planes are being altered at the moment? so I appreciate some pointers please. Travelling late march. Thanks

TG plane
If you want to make it really special consider ex CDG, you will get the best aircraft in the fleet and to cap it all, with sensible planning ( I tend to grab £39 one way Eurostar fare ), make a decent saving on the high fee and tax payments of UK.
For a family this can represent a material saving.
In my opinion the TG service out of Paris is a serious notch above the metal out of LHR. Apparently they use a leased Jet Airways, an the pictures make this look highly appetising, mini suites in F class and Silk Air ( business class ) proper lie flat beds.

For sake of completenes, a colleague did mention that some new aircraft may be coming under engagement from mid January, so that's worth checking.

Thanks UKFlyer, is that on all TG flights from CDG or just specific days? On the new planes from UK, I'm actually MAN based but LHR no probs, is there any way to check that out for definite? Just noted on TG website that from 16/1 the A340-600 will be operating from LHR, what do you think?

I believe its any 77W out of CDG when I looked into this a while back. Obviously subject to swaps etc, but pretty reliable from what I saw

The 773 is operating both the 931 and the 933 although TG933 only runs 3x weekly
The 346 is operating both LHR flights until the end of March as the 744's are in for heavy checks at the minute.

Personally I would go for the suites if you are never likely to do F again and you can put up with the inconvenience of schlepping to Paris
The 744's and 346's are not bad, but from what I've read the suites are something else
The best bit is the BKK F lounge and spa on the way back, so make sure that you get to BKK in plenty of time and allow at least an hour for the full massage in the spa
