Unable to Assign F Seats
Hi everyone,

I have an F award booking for 2 passengers BKK-NRT on the 77W for Aug 23. I've tried to call reservations and they tell me only 1 seat can be assigned now and that everything else is blocked until airport check in. Is this usual for the 77W? I'm concerned there won't be enough space in F for 2 and I don't want to be booted out at the airport.

This seems to be the norm for 77W. I am traveling with a party of 3 in F and was lucky enough to find a flight with 2 empty seats in the middle and 1 window seat. The two middle seats in row A are blocked out on every flights.

I checked Expertflyer and it seems that 1DG are indeed blocked off by Thai. Wonder what the reasoning for this is.

On the Jet Airways 77W these seats are blocked and are not released prior to check-in. There is nothing wrong with 2DG.

Oh well. We will be airborne at the 24-hr mark for OLCI. 2D/G are taken.

Try the Manage my Booking' tool of Lufthansa.
True, there are also seats blocked over there, but it is easier to do it over there sometimes
