Is 45 minutes enough time for baggage to transfer?

I've never had any problems with my bags making it in that situation. Granted I don't fly as often as many here, but I have had several trips through DFW with that kind of transit time.

Minimum Connect Time at DFW for domestic to international is 40 minutes, so your schedule isn't generous.

I would never allow 45 minutes for a domestic to international connection anywhere in the US. Not because your baggage wouldn't make it - but because - if your plane is 25 minutes late - you won't make it! Not a big deal if the next flight is in 1 or 2 hours - but that usually isn't the case with international flights. Robyn
