Any Octoberfests worth it in TX?

We will be in the Houston, TX area for the month of September. Are there any Octoberfests worth to visit out there during that time of the year? Does
anyone have any other one or two day trip suggestions out of town? Is San
Antonio worth it?

It's not Texas, but neighboring New Orleans is hosting the 10th annual Voodoo Music Festival October 24-26. That would make a great weekend trip.
