Dallas in 8 hours

I have an eight hour layover in Dallas on Friday - arrive at 8am and leave at 6pm. Can anyone advise on the must-visit destinations in Dallas or give tips on what to do with 8 hrs in the city? Thanks!

Well there's a good chance of rain tmrw...so that might put a damper on your plans. I'm guessing you're flying into DFW??? If so then you could always go over to Main St in Grapevine. It's a nice area with some local wineries and eateries if you're into that sort of thing. You could always head down to Victory Park (just north of d/t...where the W Hotel is located) and have lunch at one of the many upscale restaurants (N9NE, Nove, etc) that keep popping up down there.
