Park and Fly hotel @ DFW

does anyone know of a hotel close to DFW that has a park and fly program, i.e. spend the night at the hotel, then fly off on vacation and leave your car with the hotel, instead of spending $63 to leave it in the Express parking for the week.

thanks

charles

To say the accommodations are modest is modest understatement, but I've done it at the Fairfield in at the North Entrance. I've also done the same at the Harvey, and have friends who do so regularly in the Marriott's big open lot. The potential problem occurs when using the shuttle to get back to the hotel and not checking in, but one creative type among my kin stays for a big breakfast, claiming that when he does so, management's happy.

I know the Sheraton had a program at one time but not sure if it is still in effect.

Smile Amerisuites DFW North

I recently used Hyatt Gold Passport points for a one night award stay at the Amerisuites DFW North at Grapevine Mills. I checked in the night before my early flight. They allowed me to leave my car in their free parking lot for my planned 7-day vacation. They also offer a free airport shuttle that runs every 30 mins. My vacation ended up being 10 days due to delays caused by Hurricane Wilma. Upon return to DFW, we called for the shuttle and once at the hotel walked directly to our car. The parking was totally free.

I will definitely consider this property for future trips with an early flight departure time as the parking charge you may pay in a lot is very close to a one-night stay total. It's an even better deal for free at only 3,000 Hyatt points!

but I do want to say thanks for all the info, and will probably use it the next vacation.

thanks again
