Fire brigade training at DFW today

Checking in to term E, saw a massive amount of black smoke. Upon getting close to the terminal, it looked like the back half of the plane was on fire on the Tarmac . Couldn't tell whose tail it was.

Almost all airports have a fire training aircraft that looks somewhat like a real one. Was it possibly that?

It is one of the mockups at the DFW Fire Training Research Center: https://www.dfwairport.com/inthecomm...g_activity.php

@crjk_global Hi, Christopher. We're conducting fire training exercises today. What you're seeing is a drill.
I've been in the D AC when they've torched it up, a bit scary until you realize what it is.

As this isn't related to AA, I'm going to move this to the Texas forum.
