IAH customs wait time and Global Entry appointment

IAH customs wait time and Global Entry appointment
I have a GE interview appointment at 11:20am tomorrow at IAH "Houston Term E - BOARDING PASS REQUIRED TO ENT" office. I am arriving from MTY at 9:53AM. I am wondering 2 things:
I can possibly get a standby for a flight that arrives about an hour earlier, and after going through IAH customs last time (hideous long line) I'm concerned that I might should standby for the early one. Last time it was a Friday at about 12am. What is the line like at 10am, any different?
- Am I arriving early enough?
- Can someone give me directions to the "Sterile" GE interview from C&I?
