Fine Dining / Italian Restaurants in Dallas
Any recommendations for fine dining and/or Italian restaurants in Dallas?
So far, I've recommendations for:
Arcodoro & Pomodoro
Fedora Restaurant and Lounge
La Fiorentina
But none of the online reviews are too inspiring...
I'll be near the Galleria.
Thanks.

I've never been, but I've heard very good things about Mi Piaci. It's in Addison, just 5 minutes from the Galleria.

i do not think dallas does decent italian. Amici was great. it burned down last year. we tracked the chef, bartolinl cocuzza down to a mexican restaurant south of center city. the food was quite good.
do mexican or thai. many good of both in dallas.

For fine Italian dining - absolutely, without a doubt - go to Lucia.
It is quite small... Call now to get on a reservation waitlist, or plan on arriving as they open to get one of the four first-come/first-serve seats at the chef's bar.
There is nothing like it in Dallas and certainly not in the northern suburbs around the Galleria.
