Question Locker/Storage & Bag Wrap @ IAH ?

Hello,

Planning a trip connecting thru IAH in a month or so, and I wanted to know:

Is there a locker and or storage place for suitcases anywhere on IAH?

Also, those bag wrap services?

Where, how much, hours, url?...

Many Thanks in advance...

PS. will be flying in and out with Continental (international and "express")

We're going to move this to the Regional forum that covers Texas.

Please follow at its new location.

Thanks.

I've recommended that a moderator move this to the Continental forum where I'm sure you will receive several informed responses.

The regional forums are indeed the correct forums for airport questions, thanks.

Bag wrapping isn't a thing I've seen at any US airport. As bags make their way through security, the wrapping would be sliced off for inspection. Wrapping would be a signal for extra attention.

Suitcase storage at IAH? Well, that doesn't exist. It is treated as a security issue in US airports. There is no commercial area in any of the terminals on the land side. The terminals only have the check-in desks and bag drop. Unforunately, I think you are out of luck for airport storage. There is a Marriott hotel at the airport. If you are going to be a guest there, you might be able to convince them to store for your return.

GeoMedic,

You do have two good valid points,... I forgot about the TSA bag drop and the "security risks" of storing luggage.

Well, turns out I wont need to store bags there, as I will be able to check both pieces, so this is good news.

Also good news, seems to be the fact that, apparently, there is a bag wrap service there: http://www.fly2houston.com/TerminalD (Secure Wrap - Ticketing Lobby) so this means I will have to go to terminal D first and then to my actual continental terminal (Term. E) for international departure.

Anyone in Houston area, can confirm that indeed the secure wrap is operational and its hours? Is it easy to carry luggage between terminals?
