I'm loosing it now can't see any screen names. It happened last night after midnight Eastern in all forums I tried to use.

What's going on?

MichaelColey May 8, 2009 10:52 pm

It's been happening on and off the past couple days for me, too. Control-A quickly shows the white on white text. Glad it's not just me.

MatthewLAX May 8, 2009 10:59 pm

It was fine for me this afternoon, but now it is happening again on all pages.

Same here.

AAExpDFW May 9, 2009 12:15 am

I am getting it when in "my Flyer Talk" trying to hit my common groups...

rjque May 9, 2009 12:35 am

I'm getting it on many forums intermittently. Currently using Firefox.

Again??? Is that something wrong the text is disappears again. Please fixed it the text back on for me, please? I know it was really big problems onto FTs for every night. So it was not too serious happening by FTs forums for almost everyday. So I think it might to getting more bug problems.

rittenhousesq May 9, 2009 10:41 pm

The text seems to turn to white at midnight Eastern time every night. I've tried multiple browsers - same issue.

update: When I submitted this reply, the text returned to blue.

FOH May 9, 2009 10:49 pm

This is happening for me tonight. I'm running Vista x64. I'm seeing the issue in IE 8, Firefox 3.0.10, and Safari 3.2.2 (for Windows, yes).

What I noticed this time is that the links are all white on the MyFlyertalk page and listings of forums/threads. But if I navigate to a particular thread then I see all the text properly.

FOH May 9, 2009 10:50 pm

Strike that, now the thread page is broken too. If it's intermittent then the issue is broken more than it's not when I come to the site. :(

wsucougarchick05 May 9, 2009 11:32 pm

Doing it intermittently and I'm currently running the Opera browser. Did it last night in IE.

Does anyone else find it odd that it's now doing this pretty much at night now??

AndyTLe May 9, 2009 11:33 pm

Not surprised... again.

General_Flyer May 9, 2009 11:40 pm

Yeah, everything goes white.. Best thing I can do is just highlight everything and browse like so..

JonathanIT May 9, 2009 11:42 pm

It's happening to me!

Glad I'm not the only one... I though it was just my crappy WiFi acting up.

Highlight the "Invisible" Text to See It!

Highlight the "Invisible" Text to See It!

It's still happening to me, but using "Ctrl-A" (or right clicking on the page and "select all") works great to show all the missing blue (link) text, and all the links work, you just need to know where they are.

This is just a reminder for those who haven't read that far back, but highlighting the invisible text was mentioned early in this thread.

EDIT: It was also posted just a few posts ago, but after I loaded this forum page.

Firewind May 10, 2009 2:50 pm

This has happened to me several times in the last several days, and today I thought I'd check to see if it had shown up on this board. Of course.

Everything "blue" - e.g., all the links, from the "...">"...">"...">"..." heading under the banner; to my handle, the time of last visit and "Your notifications" in the green box; to the posters' handles; to the links in the posts. Also, stuff at the foot, I think.

Today it happened after I got the banner to temporarily/always allow popups, chose temporary, and the window came back. Of course, just like when you call the repair man, it's not happening in this window. Actually, that's been the case everytime: It happens and doesn't happen in two FlyerTalk windows open at the same time. (I've intended to report it before, but when I open a new window to do it, it's fine, so I figure, "Meh" and move on. This time I've looked far enough to see that I'm in good company.)

And, as ed1 sort of says, the invisible links work!

Although I haven't tried to reply the rest is exactly what's been happening to me.

AndyTLe May 10, 2009 10:02 pm

Midnight EDT... White on White again.

Same problem just happened again. Looks like the midnight EDT theory is true. By the way, highlight the text does work to see the text, thanks for the tip.

Dan_E May 10, 2009 10:08 pm

And I thought I was losing it.

Any line on the problem?

Yes, they do. I believe that is real problems for every night but, the blue text is almost to be disappears again. So I think tech support need to get fixed it soon as possible.

MatthewLAX May 10, 2009 10:29 pm

Problem is back for me. I can't see any pages!

rjque May 10, 2009 10:38 pm

Back again for me as well. This time it appears to be happening 100% of the time.

N830MH May 10, 2009 10:51 pm

FlyMan May 10, 2009 10:56 pm

+1

I cannot see them either... :(

kay_jay May 10, 2009 11:47 pm

Can't see the text, using IE8.

tonerman May 11, 2009 3:01 am

Still happening as of two minutes ago!

rittenhousesq May 11, 2009 10:05 pm

Just like clockwork, the text turned white at midnight. You'd think by now someone at FT would figure what is going on! Is anyone paying attention to this??:td:

skylane May 11, 2009 10:09 pm

Ha! I love it. Right at midnight EDT. Firefox 3 here.

Landing Gear May 11, 2009 10:10 pm

Still going on.

There's maintenance scheduled for later tonight. Hope they figure it out.

flyinbob May 11, 2009 10:20 pm

Still screwed up. Internet Brands strikes again.

Do these people actually know how to operate a web site?

dgwright99 May 11, 2009 10:23 pm

I have text in white across most of FT right now. The threads themselves are OK, but the search results and the forum thread listings are all acting up....

MatthewLAX May 11, 2009 10:31 pm

I thought things were fixed: no problems today until now. :(

Same ol' problem...

us2 May 11, 2009 10:31 pm

I'm having the same problem tonight-- this has been going on for several days. What's going on?

JIMCHI May 11, 2009 10:37 pm

I am having the same problem (once again) but only when using the Firefox browser. The forum shows up fine when I use I.E.
