Poor Taste at FT
The banner add that appeared above this page, a couple days after the crash of the Colgan Air Q400 is
"Colgan Air
Your Official Website for Air! Find cheap tickets for Colgan air"
Duh... Perhaps this is a response to some search term but really...

I think this issue should be in the Technical Issues, Suggestions or Only Randy Petersen forums (there have been similar observations previously, btw).
I was expecting a complaint about FTers posting - but this is not a FT community-caused problem, but an advertising problem - hence an issue for the Host (Randy at ORP forum) or the owner - again through HOM/Randy's assistance/liaison.
Isn't it good deduce that we all post tastefully.

While the advertisement may have appeared in Newsstand, the issue most definitely belongs elsewhere. I'm going to move it to Technical Issues for now to see if/when the advertisement is still running.
And, I'm pretty sure it's just a search term thing with content coming from elsewhere. I don't believe we have anyone in management here that would decide an ad like that was a good idea.
