What happened to the IMG code in the Tech Forum?

What happened to the IMG code in the Tech Forum? The forum permissions at the bottom include the IMG code as ON, and I tried both manually typing the codes and using the editor to insert it. Both results were the same: a link in the post instead of the image.

Though images are turned on in this forum, if the link contains a dynamic character, such as a "?" or "&" symbol, the image won't display. This is designed as a security measure.

Great question though ... I had to look it up to see what was going on

To be safe, I think we'll leave the setting as is for the time being, even though this conflicts with images in our own gallery. In your case, you still can link to an image in the FT Gallery, as long as you don't click through to the full image ... not an ideal option, but workable for now at least.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Thanks for the answer. It's not the ideal solution, since the larger screenshots are better to illustrate problems with web pages encountered on FT, but putting in the smaller size and a link to the larger size (since the embedded image in the post isn't clickable, although I haven't tried using the entire image as a clickable link - I'd have to brush up on my BBCode first to see if it's possible without using HTML) is an okay workaround for now.

This time I used the regular size image, but it's not working. What's up?

Another FF3 / FT problem
