Threads showing locked, but not really.
I noticed this yesterday, then again today. Threads have the Locked symbol on the listing page, but are available to post.
There are 5 threads on the Marriott 1st page showing locked right now, but each has the "Post Reply" available when I go in. I just posted to a thread on the SPG forum showing locked and had no problems posting.

On SPG The SPG Forum FAQ & Hotel Master Thread Links is showing as closed and on the normal "post reply" button says "closed" and there are no buttons at the bottom of any posts. Pre-arrival Welcome Letter from Westin Maui Villas isn't showing as locked on the forum index page.

As of right now I see 6 threads marked as locked on the initial Marriott board, and one "replied" icon in the second column, in a thread I didn't reply to.

I am using Firefox and seeing what ed1 saw. I didn't find any locked thread over Marriott forum yesterday (the 1st couple of pages). I don't see any thread locked there right now either. (For instance, the "Which DC Residence Inn?" thread is unlocked but in your screenshot it showed otherwise.) I have no idea what's the problem but it seems to be some "communication glitches" only between your computer and FT.
I am just guessing here. Could it have anything to do with the "ignore" feature your turn on or other posters use against you, which results in the the conflicting info?

CPRich, you seem to have an interesting problem.

This is a really strange one since the OP is seeing the same thing on two computers, using two different OSs, while I'm seeing the same thing you are and all three of us are using the same browser and I'm using the same OS as the OP's work desktop. Maybe the pros at IB have some clues.
Another anomaly, in CPRich's screen shot, the "replied to thread" icon isn't where my "replied to thread" shows up:

Hello again! BTW, lin821, when you quote a post with an image, it's a good idea to edit out the line that inserts the image:
This keeps the replies from getting too long. Normally this isn't an issue because most forums don't allow the image codes.
Code:
[img] URL of the image [/img]
The funny thing I always preview my posts before I actually post. When I previewed my earlier post, the quoted images weren't showing at all. There were nothing more than the hyperlink addresses. However, if I am not logged in, those image links in the posts are gigantic pictures of the actual screenshots.
Didn't know it would make such a big difference. As for OP's problem, maybe he should PM either Mikel or Tim (@ FT) or the forum mods and see if they can spot similar abnormality associated with his account.

Hello Ed! Thanks for the advice. Didn't realize that would be a problem.
