Yes, ScottC's advice is one of the paths. I just tried it myself and the two-finger allows me to read any post with ease especially when turning the iPhone sideways.
Now, you may also try accessing FT at mobile.flyertalk.com which i found to be better since all the font size is formatted for wireless devices and they appear very easy (and large) to read.
Preference is yours but i do suggest you try the Mobile FlyerTalk.
