Question signatures can now only contain 2 lines?

when posting early this morning (and i do mean early-4am-ish ), i though i wasn't awake as only one line of my signature showed up in a post.

again, not sure if i was awake and thinking i might have inadvertently changed my signature, i looked at it and all was fine:

just my humble opinion but i used to try and stop hockey pucks so what do i know .

Nighthawks fans are everywhere

but when making another post, i again noticed that only one line showed so i went to edit my signature by changing one letter to see what happened and here is the message i rec'd:

Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 2 line(s)

so in order to have everything show, i changed it to this:

just my humble opinion but i used to try and stop hockey pucks so what do i know . Nighthawks fans are everywhere.

is this new or a bug? just curious

Goalie,

There were some changes to signatures a while back.... to limit font sizes and other characteristics. The changes also systematically enforced the previous TOS guidelines to only 2 lines. You will only hit that if you try to change/create a signature.... there was no attempt to go back and retroactively force people to change their signatures.
