Downloading All Private Messages

I've just tried to download all my 138 PMs (sent items only) as a text file and got the following options:
  1. Messages: 138 + tickbox for what I assumed would be all sent items
  2. Messages: 38 + tickbox for what I assumed would be only the 38 "sent items" displayed i.e. page 3 only of my "sent items" folder
I ticked the "138" tickbox and only managed to download 38 of them (the oldest ones). Is there a way to download all sent PMs in a single .txt file?

You can download all PMs in all folders using http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/priva...dpm&dowhat=txt

Otherwise, you have to download Sent PMs in batches.

What is the point of downloading all message in XML format?

Sure, I can open/view the XML file (in Word or Firefox). But I don't see any great benefit to doing so other than seeing the tags used.

Is there a way to get the file to display like it does on the FT web site?

What am I missing?

If you have a tool that can parse the XML and make something useful out of it (like a PST file) then going that route would be quite useful. I don't know of any such tool, but I'm guessing that's the point.
