Search not working?

I tried "Search this Forum" within Travel Technology, the generic Search, and Advanced Search - all three give a blank screen with a URL of http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/search.php?do=process

View Page Source give a completely blank page

It doesn't appear to depend on the phrase being searched.

Probably related to new ability to do 3 letter searches. Tried one this morning and still got the cannot search because one word is not 4 letters long warning.

That would've been almost exactly when I was switching the search over to the new engine. Sorry about that.

The new search is horrendous. I use the search mainly to find out threads where people have replied to my posts. Now this is almost impossible because it is returning same threads over and over again.

Can we have the old search back please?

I use FF as my primary browswer ... 2.0.0.7. Not specifically an FF issue.

Can you either post or PM me with the search terms you are using?

Hmmm ...

Any terms that I enter produce the same blank page result, for example 'Kevin'

I must agree that the new search utility is less useful. Under Advanced Search, when specifying a username I could ask for all posts by that user or only threads started by that user... now, I can no longer do that. That functionality was very useful and it is a serious drawback to have it go missing.

The time-stamp search should include "weeks" instead of just days, months, and years. Sure, it's easy to say "14 days" but people don't often think like that.

I liked the old search functionality better.

The new search function is bizarre, to put it mildly. I tried the "search this thread" for a particular thread in Newsstand, and the results that came up provided links for virtually every thread under sun BUT the one I was trying to search! What gives?

Now I try searching for posts by my user ID in the last 2 days, and I get 21 results. Unfortunately, there are only 7 actual, unique posts. Each result appears between 1 and 5 times.

I received blank page search results using both FF 2.0.0.7 and IE6, using XPSP2.

Please bring back the old search feature. I don't care about "3 letter" searches.
