Can't see most recent posts

Re this thread from the Starwood forum:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=608549

I am seeing that there are 7 pages (viewing 30 posts per page), and the popover when I move the cursor to the 7 shows that it contains posts 181-185. When I click the 7 (or 6), it takes me to page 6 and shows the posts only to #173. The post in #173 suggests that others are also experiencing a similar problem.

I'm using IE 7, and I have cleared the files cache (and the problem still occurs).

I don't know if this is a thread problem or part of a larger issue.

Using Firefox, I can see all the posts, but post #1 is labeled #13 for some strange reason. The 173rd post is the most recent post, no matter what the numbering says.

I'm using 40posts/page (newest first):
page 1 = 146-185
page 2 = 106-145
page 3 = 66-105
page 4 = 26-65
page 5 = 13-25

This is the 173rd post in the thread (which I'm seeing as number 185):

It looks like the numbering of the posts is off. Post #13 appears to be the OP.

Are you using Firefox also? It looks like IE7 is showing different numbers than Ff. We came up with the same answer at almost the same time. Maybe great minds really do think alike.

Using IE, the posts start at #1. As mentioned above, the last post I can see is on p. 6 and is #173. Still when I click (or change the address) to go to p. 7, it takes me back to p. 6.

That's because there are only 173 posts actually in the thread (see my previous posts).
