May I reply when am the original poster?
May I reply in a thread when I was the original poster? I am a new poster to FlyerTalk, asked a question yesterday, and wanted to thank those who responded. Yet each time I attempt to reply, my reply does not appear. I can see my reply on my screen right underneath the last person's last post, but then when I refresh my screen, my reply goes away.
I'm almost embarrassed that I'm having such difficulty. I am treading lightly to avoid duplicate postings. Am I missing something really obvious??
Here is the thread I'm having difficulty with:

In an effort to reduce spam on the forums, we installed a system that flags posts containing traits commonly associated with spam (I'll refrain from identifying the specific conditions we look for, as I don't want to give a spammer any ideas).
Unfortunately, legitimate posts get flagged from time to time as well. So, every post that is flagged is placed in a queue where it is reviewed by one of the volunteer moderators or administrators. The legitimate posts are approved for display and the spam is deleted.
It's not a perfect system, but it seems to be helping to keep the spam to a minimum and hopefully it isn't proving too much of an inconvenience to members.

The system may not be perfect, but it certainly works very well, according to my personal experience as a FlyerTalk moderator.
Thank you, Mikel at Webflyer!
