French Banner Ads

I was in Paris for a few days last week and used the internet connection in my hotel room at Le Meridien. While I was there I noticed that my FT banner ads were in French which was cool. But now that I am home in Seattle (using Comcast) the banner ad at the top of the page has stayed French. I have restarted my computer and I have logged out of FT and back in (FT told me all cookies were cleared). So I was just wondering why I was still getting French ads.

I suspect it's a Google cookie, not an FT cookie. Try deleting the Google cookie.

You could try and hunt down the cookie (it is not an FT cookie like wingnut points out), but I would guess that this will probably correct itself for you in time so I'm not sure if it is worth the time to hunt it down or not for you.

It's funny about 10 minutes after I posted my question in this forum the French ads were gone. Thanks.
