WAP Site Snail's Pace on BlackBerry

In the days since the redesign of the wap site, large threads are downloading extremely slowly on my BlackBerry 8703e. It takes 1-3 minutes to load any thread with enough replies to force multiple pages. My other non-blackberry wap devices are not having this issue. This did not occur pre-redesign. Any ideas?

magically, my blackberry switched back to the color version of flyertalk from the new b+w version. it now browses large threads at regular speeds again. did someone at the house of miles bless my device again
