Is it possible to limit the width of the field that shows Programs?

I hate going into a thread and scrolling down only to have the start of a post jut out 2/3 of the page because someone decided that their Programs field should be: Obur-Dooper;Super-Cool;Awesome-Program;Ramble-Ramble;Ramble;Ramble.

and not include spaces.

Any way of forcing a carriage return of the people don't include spaces?

I've found in the past when coming across this a polite PM by a moderator / senior moderator results in a suitable edit.

* BUMP *
I wonder whether the Forum software can handle something like this now, or whether the forum guidelines could be updated.

Posts like these really frustrate me:

( Programs: SPGplat Hyatt Diamond Delta:rock.paper.scissors.Plat.Diamond.koolaid._wh atevertheycallitthisweek )

Especially on my low res travel laptop screen.

-- Edit:
Perhaps it could become a job of moderators to remind users (ie just like they do if I posted profanity or other stuff off-topic for the board). Not that they don't have enough to do, but it would make reading threads much easier.
