You can do a search on your name in the forum you posted. In theory, your thread will appear.
You can also click on your screen name (over on the left). Then, click on 'find more post'. That's another way to locate a thread. Look here... http://flyertalk.com/forum/search.php?searchid=1011074
I only subscribe to a couple of important threads. I know of others that subscribe to multiple threads.
If all else fails, you can send a PM (private message) to the Moderator of that forum, asking for help.

You can also find posts and threads you have posted in in the past by clicking on "Quick Links" and then "My Threads" or "My Posts", this should help you find the thread you are looking for.
If you did create a subscription for the thread you should be able to find it under "List Subscriptions" in "MyFlyerTalk".
