wiki: external links - line break problem
When external links are used in a wiki page, random line-breaks are sometimes inserted, making it harder to read.
A example of this problem can be seen here in the fourth paragraph - see the strange line breaks. An even better example can be seen in the sandbox.
Note that this problem would go away automatically if this suggestion was adopted. In case that suggestion isn't adopted, I'm raising it here as a technical issue to be addressed in isolation.
I've documented the HTML which is causing this problem, please see the sandbox page here. Just in case that info gets zapped, I've copied the offending HTML here:
<p>This is blah blah blah blah <a href="http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=7026713#post7026713" class='external' title="http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=7026713#post7026713" rel="nofollow">an example where the</a><span class='urlexpansion'> (<i>http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=7026713#post7026713</i>)</span> last word of the link will be split onto a new line from the rest.

Thanks for the feedback SLF.
We will most likely be making some alterations to the wiki layout in the not-too-distant future and your suggestion is on the list of items to incorporate. Unfortunately, I can't give you a specific timeframe at the moment, but please do know that we agree this needs to be resolved and it will be.

Rock On!
very nice! ^ ^ ^
BTW, I added British Airways to:
http://flyertalk.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
Don't know why it wasn't there. I think that we should pay a little attention to cleaning up that page as well. Right now, a number of the "Featured Articles" just point to stubs instead of articles with actual content.
I propose that we break out the stubs into their own list called "Placeholders". That way, new visitors to the wiki won't get stumped and frustrated by accidentally clicking on them.
Thoughts?
