Technical question: can date threat began be displayed?

Technical question: can date threat began be displayed?
I'm wondering if there's a way to personalize my FT account so that the date a thread began is also displayed? I dug around and can't find anything on this. Anyone know? I'm tired of opening threads only to find out the thread began months ago and the only people interested are those that were involved from the beginning. Thanks!
