display settings wrong!

Hi,

I'm facing a small problem. The time stamps on posts do not seem to reflect the correct time.

I posted at 2pm, but on the FT board, it says I posted at 3pm instead. What could be the case?

My location settings have not been adjusted (GMT +8), and there is no daylight savings in this part of the world.

Can someone help?

TIA!

The only fix I can think for this is to click on MyFlyerTalk and then on Edit Options. Toward the bottom you'll see Date and Time Options. There's a box to set or correct the DST for your part of the world.
If you have this set properly the time should be correct. My posting times have been correct this morning.

The "time posted" time is still off. It is the FT time, not our computer time. I posted Monday at 9:49 AM, but the FT time posted states Monday at 8:49 AM.

Hm, really weird indeed. Its back to normal now, without me changing anything. Wonder why.

Go to MyFlyerTalk > Date & Time Options > Edit Options > Date & Time Options.

Make sure that you have the correct time zone selected and that you have the correct setting for DST there. For most people, auto detect will work well. Thanks,

I didn't have to do anything. When I posted a reply, it was 9:49, but the posted time stated 8:49. After I asked this question, I pulled up the other thread, and the posted time stated 9:49 - without any action! (Remember, 90 seconds earlier it stated 8:49.)

Thank you anyway Tim! ^
