"Twanging" Noise?

I know this sounds weird, but for the last week or so, I've experienced a "twanging" noise from the two computers I use to read FlyerTalk.

On both machines (an iMac and an iBook both running MacOS 10.3.9) I use Firefox to get to FlyerTalk. I get a twanging noise from the speakers, especially when I put the cursor in the upper left of the Firefox window. It is not constant, and it doesn't occur when I use Safari.

Anybody else experience this?

Unless you only get the noise when you visit FT, in which case it might be FT-related, you'll probably get more help in the Travel Technology forum. (FWIW, I don't get it on a PowerBook running 10.4.5, but I use Safari where you don't get the noise either. Haven't installed FireFox yet.)
