Not exactly a travel-related post but I'll try to help anyways.

From http://www.liutilities.com/products/...slibrary/nwiz/
"nwiz.exe is a part of NVidia's Nview features installable alongside it's graphics hardware products. This application will give the user access to additional features which allow the configuration of up to 32 monitors on a host, or to expand the desktop across many monitors. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling this is down to user preference."

---------

From http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/nvcpl/
"NVCPL.EXE is a process which is registered as the W32.SpyBot.S Worm. It takes advantage of the Windows LSASS vulnerability, which creates a buffer overflow and instigates your computer to shut down. To see more information about this vulnerability please look at the following Microsoft bulletin: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms04-011.mspx

This is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately. Please see additional details regarding this process"

--------------

If you are referring to a single .dll file on your computer - then NVCPL.dll is ok. It is used by nVidia. If you are talking about a process (which I'm assuming you are)...then it appears to be the worm mentioned above. Good luck!

...I'd also like to point out that since software changes frequently...it could always be possible that the first program shouldn't be removed/disabled. The ultimate source to ask this question would be nVidia.
