I noticed that the search tool isn't working again for the United MP forum (it keeps timing out on me).

I couldn't get onto the site today, and have had trouble for the past few days. Anyone else having trouble, despite the site not being down?

You might want to check things out though. Just tried a 'find more posts by user' and got:

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.

This am, I encountered problems. A message came back "server not found" This lasted about a half hour. It is ok now.

Between 2pm yesterday and around 9pm (central) I could only reach the board through the web2 link. I tried 3 different connections and they all had the same issue. Perhaps it was just a DNS problem...

I got the same for using the 'Advanced Search' tool

As always, very grateful to those Webflyer folks keeping the site up and running ^

Thanks -- this was a permission issue on one of the webservers. Should be gone now.

This is for both www and web2.

John at Webflyer, what is causing all these problems? Are the servers just overloaded, or are there coding issues that are being resolved?
