Insert Quotes in a Post Reply

I was about to reply in a thread, and wanted to incude a quote: like others have done, but I cannot figure out how to make it happen. I can copy and paste, but do not get the quote box or sended info.
I have been looking around for info on how to do this and other spiffy things, but no luck so far

Easiest way is to click on the reply with quote button on the post you want to quote.

Otherwise need to use code
copy and pasted quote
(if you click on reply with quote on this post you can see the code needed to insert a quote!
