The TalkBoard recommended to Randy that they be turned back on. Looks like he agreed that the timing was good. How long they remain with us probably depends upon how mature everyone is in using them going forward.

Yes, the TalkBoard based upon input from the members of flyerTalk and their own initiative recently voted to re-introduce signatures as a member benefit. I was not actually involved in the process and the entire credit goes to the elected TalkBoard.
Signatures will be re-introduced once we can draft general guidelines for them which might be as soon as today. They were previously pulled when a growing number of members used them to flame other members and with the looming general elections in the U.S. could not find a reasonable way to police these types of actions. Times and staffing because of the volunteer efforts of our moderators make this now possible.
As a member of FlyerTalk, I'd like to thank the TalkBoard for their actions and vote to restore this member benefit.

That's the same complaint she usually has about me.
