why does the posting mechanism go to top of message after clicking button

why does the posting mechanism go to top of message after clicking button

OK, that topic description is probably a little difficult to decipher.

As I type this message, if I click on an emoticon or the bold, for example, the window will scroll to the top of the message as opposed to putting it back to where I was.

Does this just happen to me or is it by design?

I'm not seeing that on the Safari Browser, so I would guess that what you are seeing is how your browser behaves.

I believe John is right. This happens to me with Firefox, but not with IE.

That explains it - I use Firefox. Interesting.. I wonder what's happening behind the scenes to make Firefox act weird. Odd.

Weird, I'm on Firefox too and it doesn't happen to me, are you running 1.02?

same happens to me, using netscape 7.2 with mac os 10.3

i figured it was just a bug.
(it's not a bug, it's a feature!)
