Problem logging out of FT

For the past several weeks, whenever I try to log out of FT, I always get a vBulletin message that says something like "There was a problem when we attempted to log out of FT. Please click the link below to log out".

Why is this happening? Anyone know or have similar problem?

I have the same problem.

And when I use the link to clear cookies the cookies don't in fact clear (I have to delete them manually).

How do you address the site?

www.flyertalk.com or flyertalk.com?

Maybe both?

I did not experience this problem until only after the most recent software upgrade a few days ago.

Now this problem is consistent for me as well.

I have always addressed it as flyertalk.com.

What browser?

We seem to have run into a problem with IE 6 corrupting cookies. Not a whole lot that we can do about that.

Have you tried Firefox?

The problem happens with both www.flyertalk.com and flyertalk.com using Safari 1.0.3 and Netscape 7.

Same for me since the latest upgrade. www.flyertalk.com

Incidentally I find when I click on a link http://flyertalk.com it logs me out and cannot log back in without closing the browser and reopening (ie the log in doesnt work). I find I have to check all links to see if they have the www or not before clicking on them.

That is interesting. We haven't seen that happen and we use Safari.

I just logged out, received an error message telling me to click another link to continue and then was successfully logged out. Is this what you see?

Yes.

I did not have to do that before the most recent upgrade of the vBulletin software. When I clicked on Log Out, I was logged out.

Now I have to undergo an extra (albeit rather minor) step.

Thanks -- this is different than the problem that was previously reported.

We'll check it out.
