How irritating (and ironic) is this? Grr...

This has been happening more frequently. I click on a forum, thread, start to read & lo & behold, without my doing anything, I suddenly get reverted back to FT home page. Huh? What happened?

Not the same forum each time. I've tried duplicating to see if I'm doing something, but no rhyme nor reason. But it's happening more often. Which is irritating.

What's ironic is I clicked on this forum so I could report it & it pulls up the threads & I have about 5 seconds to actually look at a couple thread titles (ie, not even clicking on them, just read 2 thread titles) & it takes me back to the home page!

What's going on? Cheers.

Sharon

What's going on?
I haven't a clue, but I've yet to experience such a problem. Thankfully!

This just started happening (I think last few days) and never happened before.

But another prime example tonight - I get a PM. I click on the PM subject line link to read it - and it takes me to the FT home page! So then I have to get pack to PM to read it & this time it works.

Again, never had this problem until recently - and NOTHING has changed on my computer.

I got it when I accidently clicked on that stoo-pid classmate thing on the side & would get taken there, but in most cases I'm READING a thread & it takes me to home page.

There's no reason that that should be happening.

Is it possible that your mouse is very sensitive to clicks and you are accidentally clicking?

I only ask because that happens to me occasionally.

Same mouse...

Same mouse & as far as I know not doing anything dif at all. I went to read this thread & it took me to home page But this was the first time it happened since the last time I reported, so I figured it was a glitch of the system & things settled down. Again, nothing has changed on my computer, either software or hardware. Cheers. Sharon
