Question Where did the Avis discount code thread go?

What happened to the discount code threads in the Avis forum? I and a number of other people have noticed that they're gone.

I think we lost that thread when we migrated over from UBB... we lost a few, and someone brought up the Avis one as an example.

But that was a while ago and there was a replacement thread that seems to have vanished since the migration!

Hmm... I'll check on that. I didn't realize a replacement had been made.

Hmm, this thread has disappeared twice now. OK, the first time was due to technical difficulties. The second time, people start to wonder what's going on...

xyzzy - you are right the new thread was active until recently as I sure posted on it. Yes the message you see now is:

vBulletin Message

ozstamps, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Strange. Maybe the Avis Inc. hackers are better than we think.
