Maybe it's because I spent 10 years in the 1st grade
, but I know under the other FT we could search by user/handle. On the new FT basically when you click on search you get an empty box that you type in something.
Unfortunately I'm trying to locate a user to PM but their handle is a general name that brings up a zillion threads - that tie into the word & not the individual.
Am I just missing the search by user or is that now gone? Any help appreciated. Cheers. Sharon...

Have you used the Advanced Search option that you get when you click the "Search" link?
Dan, I think (I am guessing!) Sharon is asking for the ability to type in a handle and bring up their profile. At least that is something I would find handy.
Currently I have to track down a thread they have posted to, find the post (not easy if it is a big thread) and then click on handle to bring up profile. It sure would be nice to short-cut that process.

Of course if you know the handle (with correct spelling) then you can PM from "Send New Message" in "MyFlyerTalk" and just type the handle out.

- Click "Advanced Search"
- Under "Search by User Name", enter the username (or close approximation), and uncheck "Exact name".
- Click "Search Now"
- Find your exact username from the resulting list.
