Cut your losses, switch back to old format!!
With all due respect this new format/platform SUCKS!
Everyone is complaining and there is only so much "tweeking" that can be done, face it the facts....it is a huge step backwards.
This reminds me of the "new" coke disaster! lol

People complained about the old format when back when they changed to it from the old, old format (before the forum split) too. There is never any growth without some growing pains attached. I think the end result is going to be really quite nice.

The technical problems will get resolved soon, and the 'new' flyertalk has lots more features & helpful things than the old. I vote for the new!
BTW - on other threads I've seen the title line does get used, so obviously some people find it helpful.

I'm really enjoying the new FT
Yes, I know Randy and his crew are working on the technical issues for when there's a lot of people logged on, but I've just been zipping around using the "My Flyer Talk" feature this morning (1a.m. on the west coast), with all my preferred forums. I've also been able to use private messaging a couple times the last few days, and really like that feature (something that was not found in the old FT). Knowing that the old FT was in overload (many a corrupt thread), I'm glad to see Randy followed through with the new software, and I'm sure within a matter of days they'll iron out the problems. Hopefully everyone has had a chance to read his message about the hardware issues they are addressing.
