How to view thread ID?
In old Flyertalk, you could see the thread number in the internet address window near the top of your screen (on AOL), but in order to do that you had to use forumcgi/Ultimatecgi after the url address.
Is there a similar way of viewing thread ID in the new format? I can only see the thread details while it's loading; but once it has loaded there seems to be no way to see it. The window simply shows flyertalk.com/forumsfr.shtml and no other thread details.
This is going to make it difficult/impossible to cross-refer to other threads....
Any guidance gratefully received.

2 ways. Easiest...Bookmark this to use to enter FlyerTalk:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/
...and each threads URL will show up in your browser's address window.
If you insist on using www.flyertalk.com which gives you the tabbed frames, then when you are on the thread you want the URL of, just Right-Click and select Properties. It will show the thread URL there too.
